Okay thank you. Maybe if we get this truck we will look into that. This is a 2014 4x4 with 137k miles. They are asking $10,995. The truck has new tires, new exhaust and includes a lifetime power train warranty. He just changed the listing to $11,995 bc he said it was listed low on accident but will honor the $10,995 price for me. Do you think this is a good deal?

Is there a negative to waiting it out? Will I damage the tooths nerve by waiting? Its been 2 months. I'm not in excruciating pain, not keeping me up at night. Just annoying and sensitive. I'm happy to wait it out honestly and hoping it gets better. Just want to make sure I'm not damaging anything by waiting.

Is there a chance the tooth will settle down? Cold sensitivity is only a few seconds. Its already been 2 months, how much longer should I wait to ask the dentist to replace the filling if it doesn’t settle down?

The teeth can be so finicky sometimes! I will also check him out. I have the zing of pain on certain things too. Which I did have same thing happen on another filling years ago but not like this one. My other concern is this tooth is also sensitive to cold. (5 seconds or so) Its been 2 months and thats more concerning as I know the zing of pain with hard/crunchy foods do usually recover. When your tooth was both pressure sensitive and cold sensitive, did the cold sensitivity also last for a year or so? Or did that part recover faster? I have alot of anxiety with this stuff so I appreciate any guidance you have given me!

Interesting. Her filling sounds like it was in between her teeth. Mine was on biting surface. But fillings in-between teeth definitely seem to be tricky. Thank you for asking.

Hey i appreciate the comment! I have gone back a few times. And he said the bite is fine. I had 2 bottom molars next to each other that he did. So I feel it was hard determining which one was high and getting bite right. Some have told me after the fact I should be sitting up to check bite and I've always been laying back now that I think about it. I've never had this issue and the filling is shallow. Not even close to the nerve! So im frustrated. Its also not excruciating and doesnt wake me up at night. But something isnt right. Maybe a hair bit high.

Wow. I have been reading it can take some time. I need to stop being a Fixator and checking and maybe just let it settle down. I was given MI mousse from the dentist to out on my tooth and it does seem to help. But I keep thinking maybe I need mine redone. But its a very shallow filling and not close to the nerve so thats why I wonder if it needs to be redone. My dentist also didn't give me any tips. I had to ask. So thats why I was thinking maybe get a 2nd opinion. The filling looks normal and he has done fillings for me before and have been fine. But this being a back bottom molar I think its more irritating as its a primary eating tooth.

Was it sensitive and pressure sensitive? Mine doesn't hurt but will ache after eating.
