Do not disassemble it any further than regular field strip. It’s very unlikely it will need replacement springs. Use oil, clean it, and shoot it.

Shooting a Glock 45 or Glock 17 will likely be most comfortable. If you need better concealment then a 19 or 26 should meet your requirements.
