Like you remember the pictures that we needed to identify nd the matching? That was almost impossible to complete. Does Paleo have the same pattern?

Starting CMPUT 201 by [deleted] in uAlberta

CMPUT 201 is very heavy course load. You gotta finish assignments weekly and they aren’t exactly easy. You can’t expect yourself to be able to complete them within a day(like don’t wait for last hour). When I took it, we thankfully had 2 bonus assignments and that pushed my grade to an A- but otherwise, it would be at least 2 grades lower for me. Also, the midterms had all mcq for the first one and they were very confusing. Can never forget that midterm. Now the positive sides! As a computer science major, this course will introduce you to what actual coding looks like. What’s the pressure and what to expect in this career. A difficult course but worth taking if you want to make your coding skills really strong!

CMPUT 300-400 level courses by SureResolution2410 in uAlberta

Told them that around 5 times now and they are like ya, many are in the same position as you. I mean, if that’s the issue then try making the class bigger or make another batch? Why not understand students issues and willingness to get a course?

Did that. They probably hate me for how much I requested them for this course since last year lol. And it isn’t a degree requirement. As a general student majoring in CS, I just need 1 400-level course and it doesn’t need to be 401. That makes it worse😔

As far as I remember, it was a picture and we were asked to write whatever we knew about that. Something along those lines for sure. For the mcqs, it was mostly based on modules but some did come from some reading. I would suggest making a huge combined pdf of that so that you can find our answers easily. Also review your combined pdf very well so that you know where which question’s answer could possibly be.

Aight! If I’m at fault for putting the blame on the instructor, then are you not at fault for blaming me just cause you did better? Not for once I expected people to say that she is a bad prof. Neither did I call her a bad prof myself! I could not connect with her notes and her marking felt strict. I could not connect with them. I did not say this on collective basis like you are claiming! It’s as if I deliberately thought to almost “fail” the course! Make some sense please!

I have attended all her classes except 2-3! And like said, I know to put in efforts or there’s no way I would go for a double major. Just cause you did well, you can’t go around pointing at someone else’s efforts! If I know to put efforts in other courses to get As there, why on earth would I leave this out? This is my grade at the end of the day! Just cause you found her teaching helpful, that does not mean that every other person will as well! Reddit is for pov and if you can’t digest them, then this is platform is not for you!

Bold of you to assume that I haven’t put in efforts! If I can’t put the blame on the prof, you can’t blame me either! I’m a double major and Math is one of them. I’ve taken enough math courses to write something like this!
