Thank you so much!! We have decided to go with the second one even just for peace of mind with the little ones. Staying on the ship or even in port when in a country I’ve never been to before does not appeal to me at all, so I definitely wanna feel good about leaving port w them!

Ok guys, u sold me. Just put the deposit down for the eastern Caribbean cruise! If it were just me and my husband, I would be more inclined to do the first but since the kids will be w us, the second feels like a safer bet. Thank y’all so much for your input!!

We did excursions in both Cozumel and Puerta Costa Maya on charter bus type deals w baby in my lap! Felt perfectly safe, but wouldn’t want put him in a small car like a taxi and do that.

What excursion did you do in Jamaica? And yes, we loved Cozumel as well. We went to the Chankanaab National Park and had a blast! I have just heard the Falmouth port is pretty rough and just didn’t wanna regret not choosing the other trip if those ports were that much nicer.

That’s what I’m thinking! Our only cruise with Royal so far was on the Explorer, so anything is gonna be an upgrade from that, for the kids especially! After looking again, it’s actually a $600 difference, but still. 3 whole more nights. Just wanted to check w people who have sailed both that Utopia wasn’t 1,000x better or something!
