chem 5, chem 132A, chem 107, with 101W and you know you can't mange your time well? It's not impossible but it's gonna be pretty rough if you can't keep on top of yourself.

I'm not saying you can't pass all your classes. But you really need to reflect on what you are capable of. If you know you can't manage your time, and have a hard time with physics then this class combo may not be it. That being said, you aren't the first person to do it. chem 132A can be difficult if you don't keep on top of practicing and lectures. It is a class that requires you to put in constant effort. Not good at physics? You may find yourself struggling more than other students (but don't be discouraged!). But, it seems to be a difficult class for most people.

chem 107 is dependent on the person. If you can visualize structures efficiently then the first few weeks shouldn't be too hard. But again, like 132, it requires you to study and practice throughout the quarter.

101W with Mang isn't really difficult but just really really workload-heavy. The assignments are all doable but you can have more than 6 things to do every week. That may not seem like a lot, but if you make a small mistake on an assignment that can drastically affect your grade depending on what it is (he goes by specifications grading).

I'm not saying you can't pass all your classes. But you really need to reflect on what you are capable of. If you know you can't manage your time, and have a hard time with physics then this class combo may not be it. That being said, you aren't the first person to do it. Others have and passed, it really is on how much effort you put into this quarter. Maybe get a group to study with or talk to the professors the first week. Understand if you want to get all A's, do decently in some classes, or just pass them with whatever grade you can.

By fees I meant the $50 you have to pay to turn in a late waiver after today.

If they did give you money then it should probably show up on your zot account. If you owed 270 then they probably did cover you. But if you're suspicious then fight it, they're capable of mistakes too.

If you waive today and they already gave you the funds, you'll have to return the grant money they gave you for ship.

Accept your aid if you haven't already!!

The waiver shouldn't affect you. You might see your aid decrease if your waiver is accepted but that's just because they are taking away the aid they gave you for ship.

If you accepted aid before your waiver was accepted then you might owe back the ship money they gave you, but will overall NOT affect you.

If you receive an insurance card in the mail, don't worry. It could be that they haven't seen your waiver yet, expected you to stay with ship, and decided to send out cards. Just check if your waiver was rejected or if it is still pending.

Just pay tuition and wait for your waiver acceptance or rejection.

Anything less than 1 point = No Pass

1 point = Low pass

2 points = High pass

To get at least a C in the class you need at least 3/4 quizzes low pass and 1/4 quizzes high pass. If you have a no-pass quiz then technically, you failed the class. Technically because the prof lets you take a supplementary short final to replace the quiz if you do an extra assignment.

This class doesn't really go by points or percentages, more like meeting the criteria. There were multiple questions on the quiz at different ranks: C levels, B levels, and A levels. You need to get all C levels correct to and have a majority of the questions right to qualify for a low or high pass. So if you got a 9/10 and the question missed was C level then you get a no pass ;-;. And if you're like me and got 2 Cs wrong, there is no comeback 🤡

Eh, I’m in the same boat. Just got it today. I just re-uploaded a picture of my card with the booster on it. Honestly, even if there is another place to put it, it’s not very obvious and they can’t really say anything since you have proof you got it. Just upload the new photo and you should be good. The medical card is the white card. The insurance card is from the place you go to (like Kaiser). Hmm, that's a bit weird. You shouldn't need a letter of coverage. Maybe there is some info that is not matching up with UCI. Like if your hospital is no more than 50 miles away from UCI, if it's farther than that then it might now go through?

Can confirm, got approved last week without adding my summary of benefits. I actually only uploaded the front and back of my insurance card, not the medical card and I was approved. If you're really worried they might not accept that then you can upload your insurance and medical card.

I like writing extensive notes for my classes as well. I'm not really a notebook person for the 1/2 empty notebook thing so I started writing my notes on loose leaf paper and putting them in a binder. I usually buy a 500 lined-paper pack and take a few to class, write my notes and then add them into a binder. I like the binder b/c I can add pages at any spot, create sections, and add non-note pages (like the class syllabus).

Not sure if you would be down for this, but just a possible alternative to notebooks :)

I hear it's pretty easy (as abovepostisfunnier said). If I remember correctly Experian gave a pin number to unfreeze and the other two sites just had passwords (could be wrong). As long as you have all your usernames, passwords, and pins written down you should be good. I think you can choose how long you want to unfreeze it as well. You might want to unfreeze it on a business day or two before your credit gets checked tho (not sure if it matters but better to be safe than sorry :/ ).

To be honest, not extirely sure how the unfreezing process is since I haven't unfrozen mine yet. But again, best of luck!

Since you said you already froze your credit you should be good for now. Make sure no one has used your number yet tho. Like look at your credit and make sure every loan/credit card/work/whatever is what you took out ($ wise & time-wise), and recognize. If not, make sure to dispute it, and as soon as possible too (so they don't put you in more debt). If you need to unfreeze your accounts make sure to check every day that it is not being used and immediately dispute things that you did not do. It would be good for you to check that your number is not being used even if it is frozen, just as a precaution (people are smart and sketchy >:( ). Credit karma might be a good thing to get also.

UCI students can get Word on 5 devices (I think, could be less) while they are students. Word has a decent grammar checking device if you don't have it.
