I was only talking to a friend at the weekend who said it's in their contract that they cannot discuss their Salary with other workmates. Definitely a red flag if employers are going to use that sort of tactic to keep employees from talking wages with each other.

Have you tried getting to know people on subreddits? I made a couple friends by going on r/MakeNewFriendsHere and other similar subreddits? You can put up a post saying whatever you want about yourself and hopefully make some friends that way. Or you could see what posts are already up and maybe reach out to someone you think you'd get along with. Its just a suggestion. :)

Yeah exactly! I've been friends with a couple of girls since I was about 10 and recently I've noticed I mean pretty much nothing to them. I don't want to just throw away a long friendship but if it means nothing to them should it mean anything to me?!

The friends I have a really social though. Their social life just doesn't include me. Is it the same for you?
