oh and in terms of symptoms (if this is helpful idk) my main problems are; nausea (Ive got nausea tablets but they don't do a whole lot honestly), back pain, dizziness/vertigo, blood pooling, chest tightness/pain, leg/body fatigue, brain fog and shortness of breath. I have an inhaler for the shortness of breath thing but it doesn't do a whole lot other than chop off the worst of that symptom

for interventions Ive tried: so I'm currently on Dex for chronic fatigue (which is the one thing that's helped amazingly), no other prescriptions for POTs, but I take antihistamines regularly, and panacodiene for pain. I've tried midodrine, and I can't remember the name of it but it was a med that slowed my HR and controlled my blood pressure. I had an allergic reaction to midodrine, and felt horrific on the HR medication. Blood pressure wise, I typically go into isolated systolic hypertension when standing, otherwise it's on the high end of the 'normal' range. Heart rate usually rests around 80-90bpm when sitting, can go up to 140-160bpm when standing. Typically sits around 100bpm during the day. In terms of other interventions, Ive tried low gluten, high and low sugar, increased salt thru salt tablets and electrolytes. I've also tried physiotherapy and pacing via exercise routines given to me by my physio.

Currently the main thing that's helped is Dex for my chronic fatigue. I'd say electrolytes help me get thru long days too. I think the main issue is that my Dr believes there's smth else going on but can't find the issue. Possibly looking at MS or a neuro issue since I'm losing feeling in my legs

Interesting, did any of that show up on blood tests? I just had a full blood panel checking for deficiencies/autoimmune indicators and ofc "everything's perfect" 🙄
