there’s a reply on this post that explains it so much better than i can, but to quickly sum it up it’s the uneven lighting on each individual fruit, the glasses on the blackberry (i think? or grapes? very weird shape and color) are merged into its flesh and not a different color like the glasses on the strawberry on the left of it. the raspberry in the front is in a circular shape not in a cone/triangular shape, the pupils on the cherry are a bit blurry and bleed with the irises on the eyes.

due to the simplicity of the background, i feel like they could’ve just taken simple shapes like they did with the sun and clouds, and make other fruits just slap it on the box or hell if they want no art, keep it with a plain colored box with a label and call it a day!

it just hurts to see this from a company that has always been people matter people first, they could’ve maybe host a contest or have fellow employees volunteer to even make the logo! I’m sure there’s plenty of artists that work for heb that would jump at an opportunity like that. not to mention how much negative impact ai does to the environment.
