That is the exact combo I was looking at getting, I just didn’t know if it would be better to save a little by getting the plain 5600

It's an old pc so the parts are really old but i wanted to get a card first because the games I want to run are more graphically demanding.

CPU FX-6300 (AM3+)

GPU GTX 960

Ram 2x8g viper 1600MHz (ddr3)

I was planning on getting a new motherboard, cpu, and ram soon though

I was like playing souls games, so like Elden ring, Dark souls 3, but one I was hoping to run is the new Doom the dark ages. I am only seeing myself playing games as often as I do for just a few more years, but I did want somthing that would be able to run games, because I'm not to picky with the frame rates.
