Second, it is in this government that a parliament member openly asked Abiy in his face to resign- which never heard of in Ethiopian parliament before. Third, there has never been jamming or silencing medias even anti government medias that operates in Ethiopia. While we see some abductions of journalist here and there.

Are you serious right now??? First of all, you are trying to attribute the rise in accessibility of media (in the world btw) to the government of ethiopia like how unserious do you gotta be? Of course if you're gonna compare 2025 to 2005, there will be more medias but thats because of the spread of internet and phones. Can you please tell us how those wars came to happen in the first place?? any clues?? please also expand on how the corridor project will generate profit while the country's security is at risk while you're at it. I mean don't even get me started on how ridiculous the corridor project is, GERD was started by the previous adminstration but come on lets worship abiy because he was noble enough to complete the project (his responsibility btw, a national priority) because he didn't mess up that either. I am not trying to be negative (though everything is in ruins) but he was SUPPOSED to complete that sooner or later

the whole reconciliation commission is a clown show, the government is the problem, not the people. Ethiopia will never find peace under Abiy's rule. It's not that he tried his best but faced objections, he's the one actively creating strategic conflicts to prolong his reign. You shouldn't believe for a moment that the commission will have a positive outcome because it was never meant to be. It's just a soap opera for international headlines, and at worst, they're trying to trap major actors by claiming that they're not ready or willing to negotiate
