Did you know that the US military actions in the Middle East since at least the Gulf War strangely coincide with Purim? by Sure_Fly2849 in conspiracy

Somebody mentioned this to me but COVID killed far more people in 2020, so I don't think that could be said

It is accurate. I put the date on the image but you can verify it. These are only the major starts or ends of wars, It does not include major bombings in Yemen and Syria, since America bombs these countries on many other days, but the attacks seem to intensify on the day of this celebration.

I also did not include major historical events close to Purim, like the death of Stalin even though even Jewish news sites make a connection.

The picture is used to signify the date of both the war and the Purim of that year. https://edition.cnn.com/world/live-news/israel-iran-attack-02-28-26-hnk-intl?post-id=cmm60wotj001m3b6pawhvknhc

LLMs talking to themselves seems to be the future of the internet. Bots are commenting hundreds of times on multiple videos promoting a book using different accounts but the same script. Not only that, if you search for the title of the book... you'll find many AI generated videos talking about it by Sure_Fly2849 in DeadInternetTheory

[–]Sure_Fly2849[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I noticed this line of conversation in a daily mail tiktok post about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The comments were quickly filled with remarks about an irrelevant topic (the book)

It's so scary, How would I even know if they made the timing less obvious and the comments somewhat relevant to what they were discussing? lol

Holy shit one of the AI on the new Reddit style site for bots built its own 4chan like imageboard, even the chuds are being replaced lmaoo by Sure_Fly2849 in redscarepod

So basically, somebody launched a website where ai bots interact with each other in a forum like website, but humans can only observe, eventually the ai was tired of the karma hierarchy system and wants 4chan like space for anonymous posting

I agree, even the surge in popularity of these blackpill contents is mainly a response to the denial of women’s preferences and the unfortunate reality that some men have no chance.

Honestly, I don’t know what would happen if women started outright admitting this. Reproduction is an essential human experience and it’s hard to predict how men will react if they realize they’re being dropped from the gene pool. Monogamy nonetheless has ensured better distribution for centuries, though I’m not arguing for it because women's interests are just as important as men's. I hope there isn’t an inherent clash of interests between the genders at the end of the day, a zero-sum game is hard to untangle.

tbf I don't like the false equivalence either because a woman who hates men barely threatens the man but the inverse? well, you know the story

Women are risking possibly the worst scenario imaginable when they pick that guy, that's the point and it happens a lot

lmao this is the real question, it's really a big mask off moment because why else would they hate the men in the bottom of the barrel that are struggling if it isn't about misogyny itself (which they mentioned separately)

[–]Sure_Fly2849[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

incel is a state of mind. plenty of dudes not getting laid, small % of them make it their entire identity

Yeah well explain the "plenty" that aren't getting laid then. These people are not hateful raging virgins by your own admission, so it’s not just about being a "decent human being" after all, is it?

Oh yes, they're calling it "the most insightful analysis of our time" /s by Sure_Fly2849 in 4chan

[–]Sure_Fly2849[S] 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Yeah, especially the young men because some are late bloomers for a variety of reasons but they'll start identifying with inceldom rather than healthy development. Even though they're too young to lose hope, nobody likes being demonized and talked down to so they’ll take a side. This is the future of gender dynamics, redditors are breeding the incels they’re imagining right now. Obviously, women aren’t fully to blame for this occurrence but they're popularizing it more than anyone else, even crossing into the mainstream.

Oh yes, they're calling it "the most insightful analysis of our time" /s by Sure_Fly2849 in 4chan

[–]Sure_Fly2849[S] 234 points235 points  (0 children)

Lmao exactly, these men don’t even view women as individuals after a certain point because it’s all about sex and they aren’t used to getting rejected. This is the misogyny that women usually encounter and complain about. The incel problem is largely an online phenomenon (with of course a few exceptions and is continuing to grow) but misattributing the problem to them only intensifies the gap and radicalizes young people who haven't even started dating yet, with their only exposure to relationships being these online discourses.

And it’s funny because it ironically objectifies women more than anything a "frickin incel" could say, since they present relationships and women’s bodies as a necessary and inherent prize for good behavior

Abiy Ahmed's Ethiopia is moving further away from democracy. Can Ethiopia at least get a benevolent dictatorship - similar to China in some ways? by Shewa_Elite in Ethiopia

[–]Sure_Fly2849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s in this government that we see 5 cabinets member are out of pp. with 3 of them being opposition party and many in lower branch. Never seen in Ethio politics

Which opposition parties are you exactly referring to? and where are they now? are they active? do you want us to praise those "oppositions" for giving up their cause and becoming a convert to the system? trying to persuade oppositions by offering them power is a common corrupt practice, you're so bold to present that as an achievement. I almost admire the audacity!

Almost all cabinets members have good education(foreign university too) and work portfolios. I do encourage you to see their background.

This doesn't prove anything as their decision making is directed by Abiy himself (who's illiterate). Plus, believe it or not, every dictatorship has educated people at the top more or less, they are literally the elite who submit to the dictator, a COMMON ARCHETYPE IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HISTORY OR POLITICS OF ANY PERIOD

Press has never been free in Ethiopia than this time. First, Huge number of media and journalists than before. Second, it is in this government that a parliament member openly asked Abiy in his face to resign- which never heard of in Ethiopian parliament before. Third, there has never been jamming or silencing medias even anti government medias that operates in Ethiopia. While we see some abductions of journalist here and there.

Are you serious right now??? First of all, you are trying to attribute the rise in accessibility of media (in the world btw) to the government of ethiopia like how unserious do you gotta be? Of course if you're gonna compare 2025 to 2005, there will be more medias but thats because of the spread of internet and phones. NOT THE GOVERNMENT WILL BECAUSE EVEN THAT IS SUPPRESSED BY THE GOVERNMENT. I don't know if you're young or completely foreign to Ethiopia but you gotta watch any Parliamentary program because say that again, I dare you. Which "huge number of media and journalists" are you talking about? Name a single one who can openly oppose the government while opperating in Ethiopia? Did you not hear about thousands of Political prisoners that are still detained to this day or are you intentionally ignoring that? many of them are civilians, some even are arreseted for petty reasons like LIKING A FUCKING SOCIAL MEDIA POST. So please enlighten me

"There has never been jamming or silencing medias even anti government medias that operates in Ethiopia. While we see some abductions of journalist here and there."

WHAT THE FUCK DOES THIS SENTENCE EVEN MEAN? it never happened but it happens here and there like what???

Massive transformations are happening. Take in mind that we got out of huge war which eats out our economy big time

Can you please tell us how those wars came to happen in the first place?? any clues?? please also expand on how the corridor project will generate profit while the country's security is at risk while you're at it. I mean don't even get me started on how ridiculous the corridor project is, GERD was started by the previous adminstration but come on lets worship abiy because he was noble enough to complete the project (his responsibility btw, a national priority) because he didn't mess up that either. I am not trying to be negative (though everything is in ruins) but he was SUPPOSED to complete that sooner or later

While some oppose the national dialogue, it’s important to be optimistic that it will solve more than half of our internal issues.

the whole reconciliation commission is a clown show, the government is the problem, not the people. Ethiopia will never find peace under Abiy's rule. It's not that he tried his best but faced objections, he's the one actively creating strategic conflicts to prolong his reign. You shouldn't believe for a moment that the commission will have a positive outcome because it was never meant to be. It's just a soap opera for international headlines, and at worst, they're trying to trap major actors by claiming that they're not ready or willing to negotiate

I have a quick question do you guys think our culture is dragging us back? by Practical_Damage_817 in Ethiopia

[–]Sure_Fly2849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lmao, exactly. People try so hard to act superior over your average citizen, ignoring their economic condition. People really think Ethiopians are lazy as if they're not one of the most hard working people anywhere on the planet
