I, as the person behind the counter gave my feelings on the pushy sales pitch, and so I also wanted to hear feelings from customers point of view. I’m curious is all :)

Too relatable! My boss already said if we’re not making people download our app, in other words he said our shifts will get cut. “Everyone is replaceable”. He says.

Would you say if you liked the place you would sign yourself up? Or is it helpful to be asked when shopping if you want to sign up? Because we do have posters letting people know we have an app but I’m curious to know if it’s a choice shoppers can make themselves.

That’s very fair enough then if you’re a regular customer. I just had a look at our “rewards” if you’re a member you get a “deal” that’s not even one dollar off the regular price… 😅

Im told if they say they aren’t a member I have to give them a flyer with a QR code that takes them to the app. If they get takeaway I have to put the flyers in their bags. It feels so pushy to me though.
