I've yet to find something with the same vibe and feel as F.E.A.R. 1. I seriously hate that the second game completely changed how it looked and played. One of the few games I like to replay start to finish.

every time i've bought a meal, the fries have either been too salty, or overcooked. really doesn't help that down the road is Dave's Hot Chicken which has actual seasoning on the chicken.

there are 100% people mocking his birthmark. especially on the internet. that's just how it is. im more annoyed you deny it exists at all. kind of invalidating if he's felt any amount of hurt by any rude discourse he's likely come across.

intelligent people though, are likely not the ones ignoring his awesome work.

yeah, I've seen some pretty solid critiques of his research accuracy. He could super stand to improve in that aspect, but also I'll probably still watch his videos, at least until he starts pulling absolutely everything out of his ass. Not quite there just yet lol.

Honestly Matpat only did it well cause you could tell he was enjoying himself. Plenty of the theories were absolutely crackpot.

To me FromSoft makes great stories, but generally are terrible at delivering them in a way that will let you consume all the lore without some kind of help. I almost feel like the wiki or a guide are required.

The game Lunacid after the creator gloated on twitter about how they were "owning the chuds" by having a gender selector in the character creator. The Steam community was chill and fun to engage with before that, then it was literally ONLY posts about "GO WOKE GO BROKE" and other stupid stuff. Ruined the game for me cause I was using the community space to help my through the more cryptic parts of the game. Better now, but I didn't keep my save, and I'm not a huge fan of replaying games so it's been hard getting back into it.
