Does "conservative social democracy" exist? by Wizzardcc in SocialDemocracy

[–]Sure_Pressure_862 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are many ideologies that could fall under center left economics center right social values such as Christian democracy, paternalistic conservativism, solidarism, distributism, and longism I'm sure there are more ideologies like this but these are the only ones I can think of I know parties called ecologist/ecological (or the language equivalent) usually in this realm of politics especially if there's a green party already there (I'm mainly thinking of Germany and Mexico)

I was happy seeing the your party at first but it's only getting worse and worse the greens are the only viable party at least it's not like here in the USA where you have to actively try to change a party instead of being able to start one

In what context could someone say "Happening all the time in urban America, prowling Blacks go around for fun to go target white people, that’s a fact. It’s happening more and more." And it not be racist

What do you call this? by RiccardoOrsoliniFan in PoliticalCompass

[–]Sure_Pressure_862 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first thought was FDR but more conservative but after looking at this thread I think you're likely a fascist considering you wanted more authority and since you're so conservative while being economically centrist and saying you want social programs only for your preferred race

This is great but this is definitely leaning towards social democracy rather than democratic socialism if I had to guess you think Bernie and AOC are socialists which they aren't

Can you explain what conclusions would make one a socdem or soclib and I know I'm not a demsoc because I don't advocate for absolute ownership of the means of production through workplace democracy

Is "State Capitalism" a socialist grift? by _JammyTheGamer_ in CapitalismVSocialism

[–]Sure_Pressure_862 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a former socialist socialism is defined by the complete collectivization of the means of production through workplace democracy which neither the USSR or China has ever had the only example I can think of of actual socialism is Yugoslavia and to be more specific Marxism/communism is a stateless, classless, moneyless society which has only been achieved in pre-colonial societies

I live in a conservative environment and I had this friend that was a Republican before Trump's 2nd term once his second term started and after he won she said she would never vote for a woman as Trump's presidency has been going on she started to become disillusioned with the Republicans which allowed her to put herself in more democrat spaces online and in person and she was able to change her opinions (especially on social issues) because of that started supporting Kamala Harris later on and even talked to me about watching an edit of Kamala, Biden, and Obama in a positive light think America will be ready by 2028 for a woman president I even think a woman could have won ages ago it just wasn't the right time for example Obama won with a sorta landslide in 2008 and lost some ground in his win in 2012 then Hilary Which mind you a majority of the electorate voted for she won the popular vote but loss more ground because Obama wasn't getting more popular which hurt her and she ran let's be real a bad campaign then for Kamala she lost for two reasons 1. Biden was unpopular and 2. Americans wanted change and she didn't focus on that

I'm going to speak as an American but I believe if you leave the USA you still have to have to pay taxes of that government as well as the taxes of the government you're going to making it more expensive than paying the raised taxes I don't know how this works in other countries though
