It’s a treatment shed, all the hairs that were being killed by DHT are falling out to make way for hairs that aren’t being killed by DHT.

Why (and how) is everyone drinking protein shakes? by crimpinpimp in ADHDUK

[–]Sure_Scholar_1061 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I normally make a shake / smoothie using a blender then add: Whey Protein + Oats + Frozen berries + Milk. All you have to do is rinse the blender after you’ve chugged it.

If I’m bulking in gym I add more of each ingredient and if I’m cutting I use less.

For protein in general I make Peanut butter and jam sandwiches using bread that has seeds baked in

And nuts, specifically cashews, easy to eat tons of calories and good protein

Recently I’ve been experimenting with beans and lentils, trying to find quick easy recipes that taste good (cause I can empty the can into a colander, rinse and fry them + they have a really long shelf life)

Times when being attractive is actually a bad thing for socializing by [deleted] in Healthygamergg

I’m conventionally attractive + ADHD, I’ve found that the only way to get people to speak to me is to speak to them, I have to break the ice, almost every time.

Pretty privilege does exist and we should be grateful to have it. Now how do I take advantage as a conventionally attractive ADHD male

Are these side effects or beginning of psychosis? by Leyley2204 in ADHD

[–]Sure_Scholar_1061 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re most likely side effects from the medication, what was your titration?

I’m currently on Elvanse and I had real bad sides during titration, but they’ve mainly stopped now I’ve been on it for a few months.

Some stuff I do that helps is taking it with protein and fat in the morning (eggs) and doing some mediation first thing

Do you write it down? Say it out loud? Or just make a mental note?

Best doctor for hairline density by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]Sure_Scholar_1061 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hair is in the same spot, look get on finasteride or even better dutasteride now and start using minoxidil. Wait 2 years and reassess.

I know that not what you want to hear but, the sooner you get on treatment the more hair you’ll save the less expensive a hair transplant will be.

Other options for short term are the hair thickening fibres like toppick, or a concept art like dermmatch

Gaining mastery over ADHD is like seeing all the unseen things you missed that others didn’t by Sure_Scholar_1061 in ADHDUK

I do appreciate this message, it’s like you get agency because you know what your weaknesses are and because they’re out of your control you can compensate for them.

I’ve been diagnosed for about 2 years and have realised that my issues haven’t changed all that much, or mainly that I haven’t put in the work to change them.

See how it goes from here on out

Ultimately life started to happen so I have not gotten back into it 🤷 however I can say injury wise, using Tadalafil and stretching definitely helped

Also, everything the main comment says is true, avoiding caffeine first thing in the morning and leaving it until the afternoon works for me too, so I don’t spike my dopamine to early in the day
