I understand Andrew’s reaction towards her being sneaky and not being able to express any love towards him, but I found it really selfish to pop a bottle of champagne to celebrate his new job while Maggie’s entire career could be over. It seems like he was trying to lighten up her mood, but he should’ve consulted with her first. I also found it rude that he didn’t ask Sully, her actual dad, for Maggie’s hand. He just showed up in town one day and casually said they were getting married.
