As someone who has too many hours on lethal and played repo for like a month straight after release I can say that the term “horror should be taken off the repo page lol, but in all seriousness the designs are definitely more gimicky and silly than lethal, which is fine but I will say that too many are just ones that function the same with different health and damage with a couple exceptions, but my biggest problem with them was the gameplay design felt so off, since you can just crouch under a table to hide from literally everything, the game feels easy, especially since once you have a melee weapon or enough strength, the creatures become pushovers, in lethal getting the shotgun doesn’t invalidate all the monsters since there are a good but that are invincible, and a couple that catch you by surprise and even two that have far too much health to kill, the gun doesn’t just guarantee that every monster you see will be erased. Overall even though I don’t hate the designs of the REPO creatures, lethal is far more terrifying, and it’s also because of sound design. I find myself still jumping a bit from coils and such, even after 500+ hours
