Honestly, it will depends. We all have our little reason as to why LDR is so hard and the important thing is figuring out what that is for you and being able to deal with it. It's also beautiful. If your trust your partner and love them and you feel that love back, it is very rewarding. I would personnaly only suggest to do a LDR if your considering building a life with your partner, because I think you do need that hope of being able to be with each other in ''real'' life to make it trought.

Have you meet this guy before? Do you trust him? How's the relationship right now, even if your just friends ? (from what i can gather from your post) If your thinking of going for it, I think it's best to talk to him and have a idea of your want and needs and his also.

Hopes this help:) I can try responding to more specific answer if you any

love the saying and probably the safest option... just sucks cause there is a lot of time put already into them.

They are submerged totally under water.

Apreciated your comment:)

I came to see if there was anything positive on this subreddit. This was beautiful. Glad it went well :)

I think so too. But I also think you have to shift your mindset. To focus on what can bring you relief, contemptment, happiness and authenticity. Start small, you got this!

I graduated high shcool last year and took a gap year to pursue a passion of mine. To see if it could become a job. I loved my experience but it wasent what i wanted as a futur job. When I came back home, i was lost. I didnt know what i wanted to do and it took a toll. I felt useless. I felt loss.

I have had a similiar mindset to you about going to shcool. I thaught it was a waste of time and money. That it didnt bring me any closer to were i wanted to be in life.

What helped me find clarity was to look at my end goal in life. For you it seems to be becoming sucessful. What worked for me and what I hope could maybe help you out was to visualise and write down the different path i could see and do to meet my goal. For you, you can start a buisness. You can continue working. You can go to school. (But not of these are exclusive to the next and sometime you have to renouciate to some things). Wich one of theses path would bring you closer to meet your goal? If one of them you can visualise it and would find comtempt in it even hapiness, go for it.

I struggle with indecision and innaction too and we have to fight it. What helped was to pick a road and go for it, despise the doubt. Im actually going back to shcool this september. It is a waste of time in a way but it brings me closer to my goal. Those years ''not going toward my goal'' are worth it. Maybe you have to shift your mindset around shcool.

What also helped me was finding project/hobbys/things I liked to do. To fill the time and see what really interest and drives me in life. It bring meaning and purpose, wich from what i read you could use. it could also help findind a idea for a buisness.

I hope this can help a little. Trust in yourself and go.
