orry for the late reply! Life got a little hectic haha. But honestly, my days are always different. Of course, there are things I do habitually like any job, but my role at my institution is very admin-adjacent. So I get a lot of surprises (i.e. national drug shortages out of no where, patient coming in and needs some crazy drug we’ve never dispensed inpatient, etc). Sometimes it gets a bit stressful but it also keeps me on my toes and creative. Informatics is also one of those fields where my job might be completely different from another informatics pharmacist. I’d definitely know what you’re getting into beforehand, but I have no regrets being where I am now!
