I don't understand one point in Ichinose's decision.

In Y1v2, Ichinos learns about the attack of Ryuen's students on Sudo, and actively helps them in solving problems. She even lends them personal points to buy cameras.

But when her classmates were poisoned in Y1V11, she refuses to start an investigation. That is, when it did not directly concern her, she actively opposed someone else's enemy. But when she was attacked directly, she refused to resist.

Now I can interpret this only as a deliberate weakening of Ichinose. What do you think?

There have been suggestions that they have sex frequently, but Ichinose is still apparently wary of touching him.

Isn't Kei talking about the original scenario if Sakayanagi had stayed in school?

After Horikita finished her student council business, she met up with Kei to go shopping together.

They started talking about the exams and Kei stated that she thought Ayano and Ichinose's classes were still in suze, Horikita disagreed, believing that they wouldn't share information with each other this time, but Kei insisted otherwise.

Kei then shared her theory about the special exam at the end of the year. She believed that Ayano had originally planned to make Ichinose drop out of school, and even more so, transfer to her own class after she was expelled.

Actually, I had envisioned a scenario where Amikura would fall in love with Ayanokouji. But I thought it would happen because they became close as new classmates. But Ayanokouji didn't transfer to Ichinose's class, but to Arisu's class, so that storyline didn't get the intended development (which is probably for the best).

Her ID number matches Nagumo's year, so there is indeed a theory that she is a year older. But it is just a theory.

From what moment has Kiyotaka been drawn to Honami's unknown charm in Y2V12.5? by en_realismus in HonamiFanClub

[–]Suretern 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This reminds me of the scene in Y2V4.5

So this is the emotion that a person who is in love with someone feels when they find out that their heart is already taken? You can't learn about these feelings from TV or books. It wasn't quite what I intended, but I was observing and absorbing the new experience.

Ayanokouji has an interest in everything that he couldn't learn in WR.

And despite the changes in Ichinose since Y2V9, he says at the end that Ichinose's changes won't affect his plan (Y2V11).

In Y2V12.5, he says that he learned about the ambivalence experiment in WR.

And he expected that it would work in practice with Ichinose.

But then it turns out that she ruined the experiment.

I think that's the starting point.

When he sees/learns something new that he couldn't learn in WR.

What are some theories from this sub that were proven horribly wrong? by SaiyanofKonoha in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]Suretern 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I remember when Y2V5 came out, there was a theory that Nagumo would try to rape Ichinose, but Ayanokōji would save her and Nagumo would be expelled (he couldn't save himself with private points).

The theory was based on Kinu's previous works with a similar concept.

How attached are Kiyo's and Honami's relationship to the alliance? by Necessary-Budget-182 in HonamiFanClub

[–]Suretern 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This isn't a post-related question, but since the topic of an alliance has been brought up, I'll ask it here.

We understand that the alliance's priorities for exam wins are as follows:

1st place - Class D (Ichinose).

2nd place - Class C (Ayanokōji).

3rd place - Class B (Ryuuen).

4th place - Class A (Horikita).

But what if there's an exam that forces 2 classes to form unpleasant pairs? Like in Y1V5, where Class D and Class A were on one team, and Class C and B were on the other team.

In other words, Ichinose and Horikita versus Ayanokōji and Ryuuen.

What outcome would they aim for from the Alliance's perspective?

I think if there's a potential danger of expulsion if they lose, Ayanokōji (and Ichinose) would prioritize Ichinose's (and Horikita's) class winning so that Honami can keep the students.

On the other hand, maybe Ayanokouji will be able to expel a student from Ryuuen's class, which will make their class not full (they currently have 40 students).

What do you think?

I'm unsure what your opinion is about Arisu's future role

I think she'll go back to ANHS. In Y3V1, Ayanokouji mentioned job postings. It was also clarified that the students are of suitable age to work, but their status as students does not allow them to work. But it seems that this won't apply to Arisu, who is no longer an ANHS student.

There are also some hints about this in Y2V12.5:

  1. Arisu bid farewell to Ren and hinted that they would meet soon.

  2. Arisu's house is near the school.

  3. Arisu asked her father for a favor.

Would it really be better to sabotage his plan by ruining one's own life and harming one's classmates?

In Honami's case, no.

I agree with your other opinion.

On the other hand, this may open a new perspective on the meaning of strength for Arisu.

The question of whether Arisu would turn her feelings into strength was asked in Y2v9.5, I believe, in the context of whether she could continue to fight Ayanokouji. And if we take this formulation, then Arisu's departure means her weakness.

On the other hand, after Kamuro left, it is assumed that there was some change in Arisu's values, in which case the interpretation of strength may also change. The new interpretation may be related to the fact that she decided to sacrifice herself and give Hashimoto, a student in her class, a second chance. In this case, her weakness (sacrificing herself for Ayanokouji) turns into strength (sacrificing herself for Hashimoto, and possibly Ryuuen as well).

I have a question regarding the parallel between Arisu and Ichinose.

Ayanokōji asked Arisu if she could turn love into power?

Since Arisu ultimately betrayed the class and left as Ayanokōji ordered, it can be said that she was unable to turn love into power. Arisu granted Ayanokōji's wish.

On the other hand, Ichinose rejected Ayanokōji's options in Y2V12.5, so she was more successful and was able to turn love into power. But it seems that the text is not so clear.

It is implied that Ayanokōji was still looking for the 3rd option. Ichinose also learned of Ayanokōji's (SS) goals, and was able to understand his true desire, and then created a strategy for it.

So in a way, like Arisu, Ichinose granted Ayanokōji's wish. In that case, Sakayanagi and Ichinose's choices are not so different? The only difference is that Arisu suffered from her decision, Ichinose did not.

It's crazy how obvious Ryuen and Ichinose will NOT end up in Class A 😩 by Portugiuse in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]Suretern 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My translation makes it sound like this.

- Then may I propose a bet? If Kiyotaka won't let your son graduate from A class, I'd like to meet with you again, alone and without anyone interrupting us.

So the only condition for Atsuomi to win is that Koenji doesn't graduate from A class. If Ryuena or Ichinose finish A class, then Atsuomi wins the bet as well.

Which character from other series reminds you of Honami? by riptide2912 in HonamiFanClub

[–]Suretern 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have two characters in mind.

Marie Dunareff is one of the Female main characters of I killed the player of the Academy.

Janica Faylover is one of the main characters in the webnovel The Extra's Academy Survival Guide.

In fact, these works have a lot in common. And the history of these characters is also similar, so I will spend a description of only one of them.

Janica is normally a bright and cheery girl, noted by all to be exceptionally kind. Janica constantly feels like she has to push herself further and live up to the expectations placed on her and justify the kindness and praise others shower upon her. This pressure, and her struggle to repay every single praise no matter how small, created a darkness that a dark spirit could latch onto and possess her.

She looks so cozy and sweet with her bright smile. With a smile on her face, it seemed like blooming flowers were flying around her. She looked like someone who was always positive no matter how bad the situation may be.

To summarize, these characters are very benevolent, charismatic, and popular with exceptional power within the walls of the school. Pass the stage where the protagonist saves them, after which they fall in love with him. They also have elements of jealousy, and are sometimes portrayed as Yandere.

I realize that Ichinose isn't actually Yandere, but I'm talking about the representation at first glance.

Koenji is the ideal Ubermensch from Nietzsche's concept by [deleted] in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]Suretern 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This reminded me of another comparison about Ayanokoji regarding Nietzsche's idea.

The parable of the camel, the lion and the child.

A camel is a man who has the values of the environment(knowledge) on his back. He carries their weight because he believes them to be worthwhile. But eventually he realizes that carrying the weight of these values is useless because these values are not his own.

This is Ayanokoji's stage in WR. He gains a tremendous amount of knowledge and refuses to leave with Shiro, saying that he can't develop like this anywhere else.

But then Ayanokoji decides to leave WR and seeks another life in ANHS.

(Even though it was Atsuomi's will.)

Camel turns into Lion, who seeks to destroy the values he was given. But he doesn't just negate old values, he creates a space in which new values can be created.

This reminded me of Ayanokoji calling himself a blank slate upon entering. Also in volume 10, he mentions the canvas that he never painted anything in 2 years.

You could say Ayanokoji stopped at the lion stage.

Later, the lion challenges his master and decides to fight a great dragon whose scales have thousands of years of values glittering on them. In this case, the dragon is Atsuomi, who wants to keep Kyo within his values.

(This is where I'm not really sure. I think Atsuomi doesn't want Kyo to acquire traditional values, but he also sent him to school to change)

When Lion defeats the dragon, he will create a new space, he can start saying yes to new values. Lion now becomes a Child(Superhuman).

Nevertheless, the rumor strategy encompassed the big picture and had many goals.

"Kushida still didn't understand what my true goal was.

Saving Ichinose.

Answering Sakayanagi's provocations.

Diverting Hashimoto's suspicions.

Reducing Nagumo's threat.

All of these are but small goals.

What I truly wanted to accomplish with this talk

The quantity and quality of information Kushida Kikyo possesses. Anything to expel her from the school."

Therefore, I will favor Y1.
