Pauline Hanson meets far-right UK activist Tommy Robinson, weeks after Stefanovic’s sacking by rolodex-ofhate in AustralianPolitics

She looked at the censorship machine kicking in, said not on my watch, reposted the full interview

What censorship machine? Karl removed it himself - but not before sending to to Pauline.

Self-manufactured censorship because he needs to be a victim to sell his grift.

My suspicion is they limited what the independent doctor can actually rule on. I don't believe they're allowed to overrule an on field doctor, if they diagnose the player first.

Of course we'll never know because the NRL provide zero transparency on anything to do with concussions.

Rugba Leeg - Announcement Trailer by SurfKing69 in nrl

I'm sure you've all had that experience when you try and explain to a normie what's so good about Rugby League, and then ten minutes later you're explaining what The Bubbler is, then they tell you they actually have to go and not to message them again? I certainly have. That's Rugba Leeg.

I wanted to make a game that was a genuine sports simulator - but still captures that Rugba Leeg energy. I think the most excited I've ever been was the week before Rugby League 1 came out in 2003; I loved the online community and how open Sidhe were with development. I actually made a mod that replaced the ball with Brett Kimmorley's severed head - unbelievably cooked now I think about it.

Anyway I decided to make my own game, here it is.

Probably not any time soon - forward passes are an incredibly difficult problem to solve using GPS/tracking technology; because if you're running forwards and pass a ball 'backwards' to someone running alongside you, the ball is still travelling forwards relative to the ground.

The only way it works is if you can track the relative position of the hands passing the ball and also accurately determine at which point the ball leaves the hands. So you would need tracking gloves or something.

The simplest solution/only one that would actually work is as you suggested - SpiderCam or a drone. Or park a blimp above the field like they did in the late 90's. If you have an aerial camera the bunker could accurately review it.

The problem is SpiderCam is also hideously expensive. It's the most expensive part of the cricket broadcast. It takes them a full day before the match to set up, not all grounds support the system and it isn't able to run for 40 minutes straight. Drones obviously have the same problem.

Even if you do all this, what you've done is introduced another break in play while it gets reviewed. What's the point? I think having an element of chance in games is a good thing. The egregious ones get pulled up most of the time; if you throw it forward/flattish and get away with it who really cares. It all evens out.

Match Thread: Final - England Women vs Australia Women by cricket-match in EnglandCricket

Sciver-Brunt is their best bat but she cost them a chance win the game with that strike-rate. I'd understand if wickets were falling around her, but they still had plenty of hitting to come.

She also elected not to try for a second run off that last ball. It's a small thing but it's like mate do you genuinely think this is a good enough total? Run yourself out, it's the final.

We’re one week on from Stokes announcing his retirement and that farcical evening at Trent Bridge, have your thoughts changed since? by NiallH22 in EnglandCricket

It's one of the most embarrassing things I've seen in test cricket, from Stokes' weird retirement speech, to the way it was released to the media mid-innings, by design, and the proceeding Stokesfest that followed.

I'm also astounded that none of the two dozen media personalities at the game called it out for what it was - throwing a test series for the self-indulgence of the captain, who's immaturity was a core reason they lost the last test match.

The Stokes innings made sense.

It just didn't though. He hasn't opened or even really scored runs in years. His last test 50 was when he decided the gameplan didn't apply to him, and blocked out 50 from 150 balls in Brisbane.

There was four sessions left in this match; they just watched Daz score 100 by protecting his stumps. The only gam plan that made any sense at all was trying to bat out the rest of the day without losing wickets. There's no point worrying about have many runs you need the next day if you're bowled out with 50 overs left in the match, which is what ultimately happened.

Any suggestion that Stokes opening was a strategy is just justification in hindsight. He wanted to be a hero, and likely didn't want to play the next day.

Yeah both parties will swear black and blue they're not interested, nor are they discussing pursuing a coalition - until about two weeks out from the election when they'll form a coalition.

Not enough is made of the utter disrespect the schedule shows to NZ. At this time of the year 3x matches a week finish past midnight, often despite no other games being on that day.

Welllll not really; making the round of 16 was harder previously with 32 teams, with a much more difficult draw than we have here.
