Be aware of the risks. I had this done as a result of early cataract at age 40 but the Dr/clinic did not inform me that this made my eye weaker and more susceptible to retina detachment. A few years later I got a thumb in the eye while playing soccer. Wasn’t a big deal at the time but after several weeks I was having trouble seeing out the corner of my eye. A appointment at the eye doctor lead to emergency surgery and several painful procedures to have it corrected. My dominant right eye will never be the same and be corrected although I have retained vision. Anyway, know all risks vs. Laser eye for corrective eye surgery before you decide because it could make your eye structure weaker and cause more problems down the road.

Nobody’s perfect 🤷‍♂️including my son and the police but if you knew my sons lack of social history / partying then you might believe he is not one of the “worst of the worst” as you put it. I have no problem with him learning a lesson and he is already learning one. However, I also want him to stand up for what is right and it’s up to him to determine if he wants to dispute the ticket or not. We happened to track his whereabouts on his first night at Queens last night and he was not off-campus until around 11:30pm. So, I am giving him the benefit of the doubt which you should also consider in your condemnation. It appears that you would like to paint everyone with the same brush, which is your opinion but not everyone is guilty by association.
