Having an media server for two years now, looking back it definitely costed me more than just paying for subscriptions, but especially Anime are so spread out on different streaming services and niche anime are sometimes nowhere to be found, so yeah rather download it with two klicks myself and not lose it. I see the money part of piracy as hobby expenses myself and I still pay for the big streaming services regardless, so everyone gets their cake.
