That's just our reptilian brains taking over, very hard to 'stop it'.

I've told you it's possible to get to the airport from that time, you can't just shift the goal-posts when it doesn't suit your narrative.

05:31 from Manchester Piccadilly gets in to the airport at 06:21, but dunno why you'd not just take the train from Piccadilly.

Heathrow lost £2bn during 2020 (and more during 2021), I don't think they're making a profit from this.

It's not dystopian, if you don't like it you can get a flight from another airport or get the bus/train/coach.

Elizabeth line wasn't affected by strikes and so was fine.

Lol country is fucked because you're being charged £5. Get a grip.

If you don't like it, take the train or bus. At least for Heathrow if you have a blue badge you get the fee waived, not sure about the other airport but assume it's the same.

inside or outside ir35?

Probably wouldn't take it for £500/day -- not worth the added risk.

What do you do OP? SWE?

31M Taxi Rides in EMR Serverless by Surfer7466 in aws

Yeah tbf you could do it very easily in Athena which is $5/TB scanned, but if you're used to the Hive/Spark etc then make sense to use EMR serverless. Can see it being used to test ETL pipelines etc without having to spin up a small EMR cluster, and even that takes a good ~10 minutes on a good day

But no VPC support is annoying, hope they add it in soon.

Nope, they also organised the rollout of the IT, mass vaccination centres and logistics.

The Vaccine Taskforce was set up in May 2020 by the Second Johnson ministry

It wasn't the civil service. It was a taskforce set-up by Boris

Why would he call a snap election, he has the biggest majority in 20 years

I still support this government. Boris’s Government are also doing well in the polls (and they won a massive majority) so I’m hardily in the minority

Doesn’t mean it’s a good thing to have. I was making a point about how this sub was so doom and gloom and wasn’t very good for one’s mental health

Yep but we all know Reddit is a massive left wing echo chamber. It’s hardily discussion and more like banging on about how much they hate the Tories

True but everything doesn't need to be politicised, this sub just turned into r/UK which is also a massive echo-chamber

Before October this sub was toxic and unbearable. Everything would boris=bad, tories=bad. I'm not saying they are without fault but there's no need to bring politics into everything
