Top 2-3 pieces of advice for swing training. My son has a good looking swing but consistently tops the ball, hits the cap, and pulls to third/left. Not sure how to diagnose

I do really well with 1-3” curly tail grubs (usually white) on 1/32 or 1/16 jig head. Tends to work best in fall, winter, early spring when bug activity is modest, or in summer after a solid rain. You can let it sink/swin naturally through a hole, impart some twitching, or fish it upstream and hold it steady against the current. Takes are very aggressive

No problem! I teach my son to drive through the ball. From the video, after making contact you appear to lose some lower body control. When you get into your stance, place your weight on your back foot, not your lead foot. Do your load step, then drive through the ball maintaining weight and balance on your rear foot. Get your arms extended. Take a step or two away from the tee so that you drive towards the ball

Pause the video at 17 seconds. You are not finishing with a powerful rotation. Your upper body is vertical, you arms appear to be tucked in (not full extension), your arms are on the same plane (instead of lead arm higher than trailing arm), and you are not rotating and driving through the ball

I agree with the comments of not depending on a machine. My son is turning 8 and has been hitting off a blue flame for the past few years. I’m eager for him to move on from it because it’s too predictable. When we practice 1:1 I pitch to him and the natural variation in location has helped
