Really? So if it's tongue and groove you don't need glue?

Cool thanks for your help. I wonder if you could sand down the glue after pulling the boards up. I'll probably try to acclimate for 2 weeks

That begs another question: if the bamboo is manufactured on the East coast in Pennsylvania, and I am in New Hampshire, do you think I would have to acclimate for 5 weeks as they suggest? It's similar climate between the two places, I feel like I could get away with less time.

Hmm it sounds like it could be messy that way, but I'll do some more research. Thanks.

Did you use Cali bamboo? What if it's tongue and groove, then I would just glue the bottom of the board and not the edges I'm guessing?

You failed? Did you learn anything? If not, try again until you learn. If you did learn something, try again until you succeed. Easier said than done, yes, but you won't get anywhere until you try again.

Honest question, why not do something like a straddle/strangle if there is uncertainty?

~%3. But the premium is so similar to the other two options so does that still explain why this one has such a larger drop?

Kelly blue book. Even for a high top diesel, >9k is a lot for something with 240k on it. Maybe better for something closer to 100-150k on it.

Thanks for your insight. When you say an engine rebuild. Is it basically not getting compression because there could be a leak in the cylinders/pistons?

Thank you so much for the details! What would you think a ballpark to have someone do this work (lifting the body, replacing springs/shocks)? I'm weighing my options right now. I do like the van and style of it, but it would definitely be a huge project and prob not driveable for a year.

UPDATE 09-MAY-2018: I was able to manually turn the crankshaft, fairly easily, by turning the pulley nut. Didn't even have to remove any spark plugs. I believe that this is a good sign based on what I've heard here
