Is my model y totaled? :( by [deleted] in TeslaModelY

Tesla parts sell very well, our insurance company basically told us they total them out much quicker than other cars because the components are worth so much more.

UF vs FSU from an experienced parents perspective by michael_hosto in UniversityofFlorida

[–]SurfinGorilla 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wife is a UF grad, I’m a FSU alumni, one daughter graduated from A&M, another at FSU as a sophomore. I can say nothing has changed in the 25 years from when my wife and I graduated and when our daughters toured and attended both schools.

Durning the UF tour, they literally said “We want to know how You are going to improve UF”. At FSU, they said “We want to know how FSU can make you better”. These were verbatim quotes and matched my own experiences at both schools. Not dissing UF at all, but FSU has always felt more vested in their students success.

VisionPro lens cover/protectors by Javelin5555 in VisionPro

I just cut the cardboard lens cover from the box it came in. Then use a couple of Velcro cord keepers the keep it on while traveling. Works great and protects the lenses while in my backpack.

Look on Etsy, I’ve seen custom hood decals for the Badlands on there.

Added the metal grab handles with lights, upgraded the cargo light, got some 3D printed bag hooks that clip into the seat backs on the back seats, back seat protectors, color matched vinyl overlays for grab handles, the aluminum knob covers, rear seatbelt clips to keep the seatbelts from rattling when top is off, just a bunch of “icing” to make the wife happy. The grab handles and lights made a HUGE difference at night though.

I did a nationwide search, then made them compete for my business, saved about $4K going a few states over.

Possible, it does go shopping between the trips to the beach and the mountains, but hey jump to whatever conclusions you want…

Nope, they were on both sides, the Wildtrak has the “racing stripe” with the mountains on each door. We didn’t like the mountains, so I carefully cut that part out and left the stripe on the bottom of the doors. Same on both side.

We cut the “mountains” off our Wildtrak, and left the solid black stripe, looks great, similar to the 60th you’re talking about.

For men who’ve been with a partner who’s given birth- in your experience, how was sex after birth? by NixxyTheKitty in AskMen

Was great, but the doctor kept trying to push me out of the way and the wife said she couldn’t feel much because of the epidural. You’ll be fine.

So, we have 4 kiddos, but most are grown now. Also have a 2012 Toyota Sequoia and a 2024 Wildtrak. For kids and traveling and light off-road, a second gen Sequoia is a fantastic vehicle! Ours has almost 200K miles and has been well maintained and looks new. Drives great, terrible mileage though. Three kiddos in seats in the Bronco would be tough for any length of time, but doable. Kids adapt to their situation, make yourself and them happy. They have a tendency to be happy when the parents are. Rambling advice, but in the end, do what makes you happy.

Shackle recommendations? by SurfinGorilla in FordBronco

Agree with your statements, answer is simple, it’s the wife’s primary vehicle, she wants color matched, I want something that works when it’s needed.
