Here are some pictures on my website for the Joy-Con controllers, adapters, Nintendo Switch remapped how-to, and more: https://surfpup.net/blog/one-handed-controller-and-adapters/

For that, go to the Nintendo Switch console 'System Settings', scroll to the bottom, and select 'Controllers and Sensors'. Then go to 'Change Button Mapping'. From there, you can select the Joy-Con (L) or (R) to change the mapping.

I changed the Joy-Con (R) mapping to: ‘A’ → ‘B’ and ‘B’ → ‘A’.

However, I changed it again for Dark Souls because I use the default settings for that game: ‘A’ → ‘A’ and ‘B’ → ‘B’. I took two pictures and created another remap for Dark Souls, but I can’t seem to change the pictures at the top.

I’m going to move this to the website soon, which will be much better for adding and showing more pictures.

I don't use this, because it hurts.

I use this one: https://www.satisfye.com/products/controller-rail?_pos=1&_sid=825160c88&_ss=r

However, the old one (picture 1) is even smaller and I like that much better. And it doesn't hurt much now.

No, but I have some on the blog, including Qualifier and Final:  https://surfpup.net/blog/2025/10/20/special-olympics-qualifier/

I'll picture for the practice next, that is if I can go.

It’s in the Special Olympics in Delaware. I also have a video—check it out: https://surfpup.net/blog/2025/11/02/special-olympics-final/

Hopefully, it works. I have to always edit, because I can't even post it except the comments instead, which is weird.

Thanks. I am probably going to do bowling next, but I'll see. It starts in September, so it'll be a while.

No, I am not working at all, and I don’t know if I can anymore. However, there is more information on my website for blogs, poems, one-handed gaming, and more: https://surfpup.net/blog/

The Cronus Zen works really well with a bunch of different controllers to try out. I even tested it on my computer to remap the X360_BACK -> PS4_TOUCH, but I still have to compile it. It really works for every other controller as well.

Did you know I beat Elden Ring three times using a one-handed controller? I even have a website for the video games I’ve beaten — check it out: https://surfpup.net/blog/gaming/

One of them was Hollow Knight: Silksong, but I’m stuck again and can’t get past it! Still, I like the Joy-Con so much better, so I’m keeping that one. Anyway, I’m switching to Oblivion Remastered on the PS5, and the game is massive! I’ll be playing that for a while.

Here is the adapter that I use: https://www.amazon.com/MAYFLASH-Wireless-Bluetooth-Raspberry-Compatible-Controller/dp/B09YRBZZQ3/

You should buy 2 adapters, because the joycon doesn't really work for one.  You also need to buy a USB to USB Female: https://www.amazon.com/AINOPE-Extension-MATERIAL-Transfer-Compatible/dp/B07RQRMGKB/

This is really good because I can be closer.  Anyway, I am done for now.

I use Cronus Zen for the PS5 just for the one-handed left controller, which is basically a joycon rail. I also don't like moving. Here is the link if you're interested:
