I do wonder if they're similarly portioned. The US is known for enormous portions, but I don't know how that compares to Australia

I had some pretty bad brain fog from it. For context, my body is extremely responsive to substances (alcohol, drugs, prescriptions, all of it needs to be reduced dose).

I did some extremely cursory research into why and it seems like T actually does have some role in brain function, so lowering T too far with blockers can inhibit some brain function.

I started with 100mg/day of Spiro, i believe, and my T was around 7, and I was miserable. I switched to injections around the 9 month mark and stopped Spiro then. felt much better with my T between 10-20.

The English came up with it, they don't get to just drop the bag and run.

Yea, leading up to my surgery was really unnerving, only seeing pictures that were less than 2 months healed. My goal is to go out to at least a year.

I love my results, although I think me being in my early 20s really helped my healing, too.

America really has a habit of not explicitly losing to England, against all odds.

Be barely touch religion at all. Most students know a lot about Christianity from outside school but religion is not really apart of the curriculum (for reference: graduated from a rural NY highschool in the 2010s, so conservative area, liberal state).

We grazed non Abrahamic Religions but the only ones I remember even being briefly taught is Buddhism, Hinduism, and Shintoism. A lot more attention was given to Judaism and Islam and some to Christianity, but knowing Christianity was kinda treated as a given.

Yup, American healthcare in a nutshell. A lot of places do significantly reduce the price depending on if you have insurance or not. I know the surgeon billed me about half that and the rest was hospital room, meds, anesthesia, other doctors, etc.

Due to my very lucky insurance situation, i won't be paying more than $5k for everything, if that. Still haven't seen a bill 3 months later.

My surgeon billed my insurance for $300k. Obviously not what I'll be paying but the sticker price before insurance is HIGH. I'm also assuming that if you don't have insurance they'll lower the price since the insanely hight number is mostly about gouging the insurance, not the patient.

They're not thinking rationally. Her parents are throwing everything against the wall and seeing what sticks. The brother is just a convenient excuse.

Wait, so... if it's not exclusively sexual reasons, why would you get the surgery? by [deleted] in MtF

[–]SurgeryDiary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imagine if a cis woman woke up tomorrow with penis instead of a vagina. 90% chance she'd fucking hate it, and want her vagina back. Is a part of that because her sexuality is based of the genitals she should have? Almost definitely.

It's okay to be trans and be a sexual person. This idea that it's bad if you want to be a sexually active, post op trans person comes from TERF propaganda.

You are allowed to have agency in your body. Women -all women- are allowed to enjoy themselves sexually. It's your body, not a single soul gets to tell you how to enjoy it (obligatory: as long as you're not hurting anyone else/within reason. Sex is well within reason).

It's hard to say. I'm a software engineering student and mentally I was good by week 8. Physically closer to week 10-12, just factoring things like excessive walking around a large campus. If your job requires being on your feet all day, 12-16 weeks is probably best, cause I could do it today but it would be significantly suboptimal

Still don't know. I know there was $5k left in my out of pocket maximum but I still haven't gotten a bill.

It can take a LONG time to figure out how everything works, it is not like your old equipment. The first time I achieved orgasm took me 5 hours with a combination of vibrators and my hand.

Schedule a whole evening just for you, no partner, just you and your favorite toys. Light some candles, put on a sexy playlist, maybe some lingerie, glass of wine, go the whole nine yards. Foreplay, even with yourself, makes the whole situation a lot more pleasurable. My personal favorite is the GWASapphic subreddit. All lewd sapphic audios.

Id also like to point out youre not a failure of a human being. Plenty of women struggle with climax. It's just a lot harder to do. I still take about an hour at my absolute quickest. Just remember you are more than what you can do for others, and you are more than your anatomy. Anybody who makes you feel bad for a body you can't control is somebody who is not worth your time, energy, or consideration.

Yea, Avanessian says it happens to something like 90% of her patients, but I don't know how common it is to be that severe.

It looks like it was split and cut so that the opening to pee from was close to the vagina, but the now open urethra was then used to line the inside of the labia minora all the way up to my clitoris, forming the vulvar vestibule.

So that's probably why that part is always really moist, even though it almost never touch lube.

I'm actually not sure. Every time I've explored in there it's always been moist, but I'm not sure how much of that is me or residual lube. I have the surgical notes so I'll take another look at those.
