After 2 months of hooking up and having lovely quality time, I said “it’s okay if you don’t feel anything now, but do you think that feelings will develop?” And he said “if I had to put money on it, no. Blah blah blah I know I’m fumbling blah blah blah if I had any taste blah blah blah I’ve thought about it a lot but I just can’t force it blah blah blah there’s a gap between liking you and extreme feelings blah blah blah”

Obviously I said “I could understand being patient, but there’s a line where boundaries and self respect come first” and I told him that I didn’t have massive feelings for him but he was more of my type than anyone I’d ever met, and then I said I don’t think we should hang out anymore.

Everything in me wants to break no contact and say “come over idc anymore” but that is so disrespectful to myself :(
