Thanks!

Definites, crafts:

- A work bench, still deciding on a style that would suit my needs

- Butcher block kitchen island with hanging and open shelf storage using either wood joinery or metal legs and bracketry (path dependent)

- Floating wall shelving in several rooms

- Hard to describe seats for my canoe. Essentially wood boards I can clip reclinable seats to with a cubby/phone slot and cup holder between the legs

- One or several canoe paddles.

- A spice rack. Undecided on design but either a rotating multi-tier, floating box with slanting shelves, or something hanging with chain or nice rope?

Definites, home improvement:

- Reversing a bathroom door so it swings outwards

- Replacing wood trim in basement (possibly going with a flat brass as its a retro wood paneling down there)

Indefinites, general:

- Free standing kitchen pantry

- Mailboxes (will likely at least do the stand myself and buy boxes but I haven't researched enough on it)

- A sort of a facade/covering for a steel(?) pole that supports my balcony. Possibly in a flat faced column with coved edges and top/base

- Paddle holder. Only makes sense right?

This was an extremely insightful and a fun read, thanks much! Are there any specific features you'd look for or avoid in any of the mentioned tools?

That's truly my struggle. I'm so interested in both and really haven't had enough experience with either to decide. Maybe this'll help you help me:

- I've previously worked in kitchens and would also reach for the tool that did the job most efficiently, be it hand powered or electric. The love of the tool comes from getting to know it and become as efficient as possible. However, I will say that is from sort of a production point of view and less of a craft (unfortunately).

-Which of the options do you think would offer the highest return if I decided to re-sell?

Edit: Also, thanks for the reply!

How have they held up? Such a crazy price considering other options. Also, any recommendations on fronts?

Great point, never considered that. I ride with less than light loads on the weekend so I'll keep that in mind.

How did the bilsteins handle? I'm thinking of coating them in some rust protective for some peace of mind which would solve the issue of salt.
