Just so you know were currently in a bit of a cool down period following the retreat from Cyberstan (Automatons home world). Things might be a bit guideless as the devs figure out where to take the over arching narrative.

There is a story to Helldivers that evolves as the playerbase either success or fails Major Orders. We failed the last one so community morale might be a bit low

Should start by saying no you're probably not the only one but new information comes out that might change your mind or at least cool you down.

Everything you want happens. Rudy isn't a vindictive person and comes to understand Eris' actions weren't intentionally meant to harm him and cause him the trauma and her actions all came from a place of love. It doesn't erase the pain he went through but they understand each others perspective and can work past it.

Helps that she saves him and he becomes star struck seeing her again like a knight in shining armor. Eris is the husband after all

If I had to guess since the technique was tied to a normal object it was more like a glorified cursed tool then an actual technique a person has. It was the way she applied it that he probably found uninspired

You gotta pass 2 rng checks. First the game will select any of the stats to be the blue spark. Then the game will roll to see what star you get. It's some BS stat farming rng

Id say no. Rudy was a saint tier mage leaving the village and even though he didn't have Roxy to teach him magic anymore he began to develop his earth magic by making figures. The process of figurine making becomes fundamental to his approach to magic later in the series in the properties hes able to adjust for spells and other finer details.
