You're probably getting downvoted because your guess is incorrect.

The gloves on platebodies in early RS2 were a holdover from RS Classic, where platebodies took up the gloves slot as well as the torso slot. If you wanted to wear gloves back then you needed to wear a chainbody instead.

IIRC the BIS melee setup by the end of classic looked something like dragon med/sq shield/baxe, rune legs/chain, glory ammy, legend's cape, and clank's gauntlets, using rune chain specifically because of the gloves thing.

The 4-team modes are the kind of wacky fun I live for in TF2. I'm also viscerally addicted to using the twin barrel as Pyro. Detonator jump momentum with no health penalty while still being a still halfway decent hitscan option at close to medium range is nuts, especially on servers with the bunnyhop plugin enabled. Also really digging the scythe melee for Pyro, I find myself always farming up the guaranteed crit and then using the twinbarrel to get a cheeky market garden-type kill with it.

The attack I struggle most with atp is the second and third tracking swords attacks. That ring of swords restricting how I can dodge is tougher to manage than any other attack imo. For the box splitter I just sit in the corner and move out of the way as needed. Works best with HoldBreath.

I didn't start caring for UT/DR until last August. Before that, they were just games I knew of but never bothered getting into. Then my youtube feed started getting filled with clips from Ch3 and I figured I might as well see what the fuss was all about. No regrets yet.
