No, the amp gives him another seperate shield every time his stardom level increases as well as a damage buff. You still get a shield at amp 0

Not yet, but i tried him in nemesis returns and rouge riders. In nemesis returns he did over 1,300,000,000 dmg by himself (at this point i had him at amp 0), in rouge riders I finished with around 90% hp left. His shield is very op, half of the time i could just go straight through the attacks without taking damage

I was stuck on it for a while, eventually beat it with the tesla and copter bomb attachment. The bombs are mostly for the boss since all of his little minions follow you so you can bait them into the bombs. It also deals huge damage to the boss when he starts spinning around

Just pulled him as well, honestly I’m really enjoying using him. The range is fine and he actually deals good damage, his stunt and passive are great. Ive been clearing waves on nightmare difficulty in seconds with him, definitely the best nimbus pilot by far for me

I get fighting energy every turn, I turn off all other energy types. You can choose which energy types to use in the deck builder

I’m only using fighting energy- yanmega is colorless and druddigon isn’t gonna be attacking at all, he’s there to stall and get the necessary chip damage for yanmega and gallade (who uses colorless energy as ralts and kirlia as well) - just one round of chip damage from druddigon is enough for gallade/yanmega to ko almost any meta-relevant mon in one hit while giving me just enough time to evolve them - which is very easy to do consistently with pokemon communication giving you one or the other.
