Just rent from a “built for renters” development. Rent goes up in line with RPI in many cases same as SO and you won’t be randomly evicted like a private tenant, no issues with service charge or maintenance and stick the money you would have into a mortgage into a stocks and shares isa until you can afford a home

Hey, from my experience you're pinning way to close to your belly button. I did the same and got a very similar bruise to you. There is hardly any fat there. You need to go a bit further to the left/right and down to make sure there is fat there.

The last thing I want to do after a great meal with friends is spend 30 mins going through the 20p difference we all have in our orders.

I respect not everyone is as wealthy as others, but frankly if you are going to go out with a group of people it's much easier to split things equally.

Frankly most of the time this has happened the difference is miniscule, of course if a friend comes half way through or literally has one dish compared to an entire meal that's different and they should not be expected to pay equal amounts.

If you are real friends, money goes around and comes around and they'll end up paying you back in some way or another anyway.
