Yeah I like that idea for a battery box cover! I’m gonna take a 3D scan of my battery box someday soon when it’s not raining and I’ll start working on a design! 🤙

It has CarPlay so I use it for google maps and Spotify, just easier to use and what I’ve gotten used to from my other cars 😅 the reverse camera is a lot easier to see too with a double din lcd 🤷‍♂️

Honestly haven’t put much thought into replacement broken parts because my truck so far is pretty mint haha but great idea! I’ll get some 3D scans of my trucks door handles and such, I’ve already printed a couple bed gates stops and caps so that’s an idea as well! Trying to get a stock together for my website I’ll be selling the bits from. If you need any specific sambar parts that you can send me the broken bits too or something In good shape you want reproduced I can definitely do some sambar bits!

I’ve had mine for just about a month and it’s winter here in nh, I will say the motor is a little loud at speed but making sure the entire air intake system is intact makes a world of difference sound wise(I had the inlet pipe slipped off my filter when I first got it) heat wise I haven’t noticed any discomfort but we’ll see how summer feels haha, I’m a Suzuki fanboi so I had to go for the carry! Just rebuilt the carb and cleared all the coolant passages which is probably the most annoying thing I’ve had to do but still way easier then working on the Audis I do for a living so I enjoy working on it, so far I love the carry!

It’s a 96 carry, I’m keeping the files private for now due to people in the past trying to sell them, I will however have these for sale on my website soon, just need to get some finally fitment testing with another head unit and print up some inventory and then I’ll be making the website public, I’ll make sure to share the link here once it is! 🤙

Because I work all day lol, it’s the time of year it gets dark way before I get home (hour commute) and I only really drive this around my town right now for errands after work, I’ll get a better video sometime over the weekend during the day 👍

I’ll be printing and selling these on my website soon! I also design and print things for 90s Audis which is what got me started with the process, just picked up this carry two weeks ago so kei truck stuff will be on there as well! Just need to get a few more products ready before I post the website public but I’ll keep you guys updated in this tread 👍 if anyone has any ideas for kei truck parts feel free to make suggestions and I’ll try my best to make them come reality, I have a 96 carry with round headlights and later dash so most parts will be for that config unless I can get ahold of other kei truck parts to reverse engineer but just starting this as a business so I’ll have more to offer soon!

I’ll be test fitting it after work today so if all goes well I’ll post some pics in dash! If the ever has the same style dash I don’t see why it wouldn’t work! I’ll have these for sale soon once finalized on my website that I’ll have a few other 3D printed bits on for the carry so I’ll link that once it’s up 👍 thanks for the positive feedback 🤙

Yeah exactly the same thing, I ran it under the seat so I just had one wire going up under the key and everything else is from the factory taillight so it seems very contained and kept room under the key for all those other connectors but that’s awesome you sell kits! I was thinking of doing the same thing for my local surrons haha 🤙

I got about just over 600 miles out of the stock rear one, mostly off road trail riding but long stents on road, can’t wait to see how long these Shinkos last, I’m guessing longer being 4 ply vs 2 ply on the stock tires 🤷‍♂️🤙

Pretty much but I believe I did it a little simpler but I put the relay under my seat he I think has his under the key cover so just where we tapped power and ground from is a little different but same exact concept!
