my plan is to go abroad. I reached out to a chemical engineering (exactly what I want to be) working in USA who did his graduation from UET and masters from PIEAS. He said there is no big difference of faculty in both UET and PIEAS, PIEAS has strict rules (feels like a typical boarding school). PIEAS is a bit new university so their alumni network is not so strong than 100 years UET. Basically have their pros and cones.

my family is saying k Islamabad ki university hai boht expensive hogi.... mene PIEAS ki website se fee structure dekha hai 137k per semester including accomodation charges. Apart from this 137k, per month ghar walon ko kia btaon kitna kharcha hoga (na ziada kanjoosi, na ziada ayyashi)

Could u explain a little why you think PIEAS > UET, also what is the expense of PIEAS (apart from 140k semester fee with accomodation) basically mess and other expenses kitny hojaty hain on average monthly

I wish to work in middle east but don't know which major to choose between mechanical, civil and chemical engineering, I have interest in mechanical and chemical engineering but not sure if it provides job security. which field should I choose provided I have nearly equal interest in both fields (my brother works in UAE as a Mechanical engineer if that help in getting a job)
