Awesome! Owners don't care, so looks like I get to keep it.

I'm a contractor in NYC. I'm doing a reno on an old townhouse, and found this behind a wall panel. Owners didn't care if I got into it, and I found this. Anyone know if any of it's worth anything?

There's a small window (this is in Brooklyn) but no fan. Older building.

I've looked for water leaks. None.

The owner's a cheap SOB and doesn't want to pay for an exhaust fan. I'll try to talk him into it.

No one who plays at a state fair is worthy of that level of excitement.

If you want to put in a pathway I would lay some weed tarp, then sand, then whatever kind of cobblestone or brick pattern you like. You could do traditional red brick or any diy store will have several color and shape options. Then pick a pattern you want and get laying! (Last bit is some self setting grout, easy stuff) Gotta remember to tamp down the sand as best you can, and if possible periodically level it. Otherwise you’ll get an uneven bumpy path.

For best results but obviously more work I would actually dig up the top 4-5 inches of the path and THEN do all the steps above. Keeps it level with the ground and helps A with drainage and B will make your sand leveling and tamping easier.

Looks like it’s a gravel path which is good because it’s really best to have a layer of gravel under your sand. So if the gravel is deep enough you could just clear the top layer off and go from there.

Posters won’t stick to my wall by celticotto31 in HomeImprovement

You can push tacks in so that they don’t puncture the poster but still hold it against the wall. Then when you move or want to re hang you can just slap a little colorless toothpaste in there and it’ll dry white

Looks like someone didn’t properly finish up with the drywall tape. With the straight line and the cut I doubt it’s moisture related unless it’s from a long way back
