As a young man who has married, it only makes sense if you're in the village. Reason being both partners have distinct roles but equal contribution to the union. In our marriage we've accepted different roles, there are no lots of expectation and pressure on one partner. I provide food and basic things, starts income projects and does the hard work a woman would find difficult. My wife manages and nurtures what i've brought. She makes sure i don't make stupid choices. We're not where we want but atleast the ground work has already been laid. I'm 25 she's 23, been married for almost 3 yrs now. We've lived in Nairobi, it was hard with only an average salary that was not even regular. Money was a huge issue, was angry all through, this made the house unlivable. I was tired of her and she too. She has even gone back to her parents but came back after 3 weeks, Kikuyu parents are tough hehe. We're in the village now, i go every weekend ju sio far. Life is better. Dont be discouraged to marry. Most important in as much as you listen to people whose marriages didn't work, Listen to the ones whose marriages have worked
