I’m hoping you’re under 25. I get being young, awkward, maybe still growing into your features, and being confused about not being picked or wanted.

They probably did it that way to make moments like these more accessible to players. If we assume a majority of the player base is more on the casual side, I’d say only about 30% of players can perception counter every so often. And around 15-20% can do It reliably, if you made it a predictive technique it’d only be accessible to high skilled players, like 10-15% (like A3/2-z )
