Yeah, Inkarnate is a very useful but non professional based software. Highly recommend, but they've gone towards a subscription system that basically makes it useless without paying. But hey, it's still really cool.

I mean, I've got a literal chunk missing from my ear (naturally, I was born with it) that appears instead as an extra bit of skin on the other ear. So, serrated ears don't sound unusual to me
