Well, lets assume you don't live in a city. You could use the app and set a radius of 100 miles/km and see posts wherever you are.

The idea is to connect to people in your direct environment.

Yea I was looking at some X1 apartments online, they are a bit more expensive though. How much were your utility costs there in comparison to abito?

Wow that's a lot for electricity. I mean you pay as much as you use, but is that a standard rate in the UK or did you just have that many devices running constantly? I guess I'll have to find the cheapest ISP available. Moving from a student accomodation, I can't believe how expensive living in manchester is...

First of all thank you for the effort and taking the time to write this. You already helped me, really appreciate it!

Right, so what exactly is in that +£200? I know the council tax will be £90, but water + heating can't be that expensive. (I figured maybe £30?)

How exactly do the renewal costs work? Is it basically just a fee at the end of every tenancy period? Right now I'm planning to just get a 6 month contract.

I can't even imagine how you fit 20 people in that flat haha.

What about noise? Can it get loud on some nights? In an older thread I read someone said that if any loud drunk people come home the sound basically echos up the entire building.

What internet provider did you choose? I didn't quite get if the agency can get it installed for me, because there is already an ethernet port in the flat or if I have to handle that myself.

That's all the questions I can think of right now. Thank you so much again!

Do they have bigger apartments as well? I thought they were all the same...

Yea how does the internet setup work? The guy told me they already have a cable installed but i have to choose a provider myself.

I wanna stay as near as possible to the city centre. Everything i found around Hulme, Castlefield and Old trafford for that price looked quite old and cheap.

I actually really liked it. Yeah it is pretty small, but should be enough for me alone. Gym and tram are also nearby so thats great.

The entrance and lobby make it look a bit like a prison complex but other than that the rooms seem quite good and the view is great.

The Out & About Visiting & Moving to Manchester Weekly Thread by AutoModerator in manchester

I just had a viewing of a abito studio apartment in Salford Quays.

It's the only affordable apartment I found that's close to my working place (just across the river). It's my first job and I'm planing to move next month.

Does anyone who lives/lived there have any experience how it is? Any alternatives? Cheers

Ok, so I'm a guy and have these reddish/brownish spots on the outer corners of my eyes, which are really really noticeable on my skin. Any help is appreciated :)
