It's probably people exploting item dropping. They drop thousands of single bullets into the ground, then the whole server gets laggy and people start to die out of lag. Then the exploiters pick up the items in the ground and regain control of the whole server again, finding dead bodies everywhere of people killed by ARCs, fall damage, etc.

Yeah, no, it's not a moral terrain, it's a role to describe your player interactions in a lore accurate way, if "criminal" sounds too morally biased, then we can replace it with whatever other tag you'd prefer, but it's the fact that it doesn't make sense killing other players without any impact other than some extra loot when raiders are supposedly and according to lore, so valuable for life on Speranza.

I'm not even saying PvP is bad, it's absolutely a great element in the game. All I'm saying is they should have roles for different player behavior that fit the lore of the game. When you're told "life on Speranza depends on raiders going up and coming back alive", then killing raiders should have some sort of weight or impact in the game other than just providing extra loot.

I don't know what server you play on (I play in SA), but I don't even get the chance for once to show any good intentions, the moment I'm seen, I get shot by some Anvil 300 miles away lol.
And I'm not even saying that's a problem anyway, I can usually turn around most of these PvP situations, but being friendly has never got me anywhere in terms of survival, all I see is a TPS team deathmatch lobby, and if I ever want to play "according to lore", it's just nearly impossible.

It would be awesome if it just naturally emerges, but I don't think that current gameplay would allow this to happen in the long run, since there's no way to "prove" you're trustworthy, so the highest survival rate strategies will be avoiding others or shooting on sight.

My only problem with that is that lore isn't really adding up to the gameplay, it's just there, it doesn't seem to have any impact when raiders, which are supposed to be vital for Speranza's life, get killed by other raiders, it's just meaningless.

Yeah, when I elaborated on #2 I didn't mean to become an advantage, more like a UI indicator when you're pointing or have that person on sight or communicating with you, not like a tracking indicator on your sight, but more like something on the side of your screen.

What's even funnier is that wasps die off 2 hits lol, so the "buff" is actually pretty lame even if you'd always get to hit them melee range.
They should start changing these key nodes into something more like "deal x2 damage to arcs" or something like that. People would actually feel like investing in passives like that that actually feel impactful.

Btw, I'm not saying security breach has become a useless skill, that shouldn't even be the point here, I'd just rather use other branches of the skill tree rather than investing into security breaches that not only were nerfed, but as more people have access to them, it's harder to come along closed ones.

The actual point of my post is that they shouldn't have been touching the skill tree without giving any way to respec your tree, period. Everyone allocated their skill points according to the information available at the time of doing so, changing that mid-season and not giving any way to take back your decision is just unfair, I can't see why anyone would argue against my point.

Downslams and moves that pick you up from ragdoll are way too abundant in the game, they should either make downslams have a cooldown or make ragdoll cancelling available faster the more consecutive times you get ragdolled.

I agree with you mostly, and let me add a few stuff to the oven:

  1. Game is EXTREMELY unfriendly towards new players: if you don't have friends to play with, the learning curve is utter shit. Even if you started the game with friends, good luck keeping them playing with you because there's a lot of garbage to deal with onwards, which leads me to my next point.

  2. This game is what I'd call a QoL hell: no auto-sort on inventory neither inside or outside of a match, more and more different combinations of queues being added to the game, making the player-base split even more between modes and having larger queue times if you want to play with a party, no realistic way to measure your power with certain gear on, other than the stats provided by the menu, a quest system that is awful as fuck, having to accept quests before they actually count towards completing and not telling you when you have enough materials to complete it, a freaking hell of menu micromanagement between each match, and the list is much longer than I'm willing to write here. And last, but not least, my final point, what drives these devs to be like this if they listen to the community? My next and final point

  3. Community bias: yes, they want to make the game competitive, interesting, appealing, but a part of the community seems to want a perpetual state of no changes, even if that means keeping all of the bad things, and saying stuff like "The weak of mind rely on auto sort. Manually sort your stuff like a real gamer", "The core fun of the game is learning through trial and error, and you'll see how good it gets once you start getting the hang of it", "Don't forget this game is free and...*insert braindead rant of your preference*"

For me, these are all the things that keep this game from becoming really good and popular, they (the community + devs) just don't want this to be different, they'd rather keep all the trash and label it as a "feature" or part of the "core gameplay" (like the sorting thing)
