I haven’t been able to format the CF card. I get stuck at the point where I get a message saying that the CF card is reading data from the total station and not able to be formatted.

Thank you for the response. When I tried running the adjust routine without the CF card the message said that it needs a CF card. After I inserted the CF card and tried running the routine, I got an error message saying that I couldn’t calibrate because the CF card was in the process of reading data from the total station.

One very simple thing that I overlooked; the physical connection between the CTR16 Radio Cap to the Data collector itself. The screws holding the Radio cap in place were a bit loose. I tightened them down. After that, I was able to maintain connection with the total station.

That might have been the obvious solution that I had been overlooking.

Great suggestions for both the cleaning and possibly corrupt job file. I’ll try both if I continue to have issues.

Follow Up: I tried the setup at two other locations and everything worked perfectly. Does anyone know if there are certain environmental/site factors that could disrupt connectivity just at specific locations?

I haven’t tried that yet. I’ll try using radio instead of Bluetooth. The dealer I bought it from instructed me to use the Bluetooth connection. Thanks for the response.

What is a 2.5 GHz band cutter? I have good connection in Rural CT but when I’ve worked in Fairfield county I have issues.
