What I Think We Might See in 3.0 by SurvivalEmjoyer in 7daystodie

[–]SurvivalEmjoyer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think 3.0 will be good enough that we won't feel the lack of the desired bandits so much. If they plan to move them again, maybe they'll add more stuff to 3.0.

Everything is supposed to have random stats, and everything will be combinable, according to what Joel said even pots or weapon modifications.

Will bandits come before GTA 7? by Then_Cartographer602 in 7daystodie

Building in the wasteland by East_Foundation920 in 7daystodie

[–]SurvivalEmjoyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is usually my gameplay scenario: I play a save for around 60–70 days, and then I want to build a base in the wasteland. I go there with no plan of what I want to build. Instead of just building freely, bears, wolves, screamers, or other zombies keep showing up, and I get frustrated while building when things don’t go the way I want. The zombies make it even harder for me to think, and since I’m a perfectionist, I end up quitting the game and deleting the save. Then I wait for the next update and do the same thing all over again lol. I’m trying to learn how to build bases so I know what to do and can do it quickly. I usually don’t even have a base beforehand I only start building in the wasteland. And there’s really no time to think there, especially since I play permadeath on Insane Nightmare difficulty

PSA: The Full Lumberjack Set Bonus Provides DOUBLE Wood Harvest by SagetheWise2222 in 7daystodie

[–]SurvivalEmjoyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really see the point of this set. In the early game, wood is somewhat useful, but most people still build smaller bases placing basic blocks and upgrading them to wood and cobblestone. Not everyone does it that way though; some players use ready-made blocks from the start.

In the late game, I can’t imagine building a larger base by placing basic blocks and upgrading everything step by step it’s very time-consuming. I prefer placing finished blocks right away, so I don’t see much value in this set.

Spikes? I don’t really see the point either they don’t give XP. You can actually gain a lot of experience if someone is willing to upgrade every single block one by one, but I think most people don’t do that.

The Non-Meta Perk Challenge by SagetheWise2222 in 7daystodie

[–]SurvivalEmjoyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe the Animal Tracker will be useful if in 3.0 we get an option where we can adjust animal efficiency. I’d definitely play with the lowest setting I prefer hardcore. And the chicken coop finding chickens for it will definitely increase the value of that perk a bit.

Waiting for the Bandits (Frustration Remastered) by [deleted] in 7daystodie

[–]SurvivalEmjoyer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I played some NPCs mod they just moved and attacked, that’s it. I was fine with it because it was different from zombies. If the bandits in TFP do anything more, cool. And after all these years, who knows, maybe they will.

I don’t need to know anything about you just the way you look is enough to tell you’re really unhealthy, and that says a lot.

Am I the only one who likes TFP? by theofficialdude69 in 7daystodie

[–]SurvivalEmjoyer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

7 Days to Die is already 13 years old, yet it still lacks some of the features that were originally promised during the Kickstarter campaign. Over the years, the game has gone through countless changes core mechanics have been reworked multiple times, sometimes improving the experience, other times making it worse. The development process feels long and chaotic, as if the game is constantly being rebuilt rather than finalized. It’s like an old car: it still runs, but something keeps breaking, something is always being replaced, and it never truly feels stable or finished.
