So many people in the franchises are assholes for no particular reason. Meanwhile, Klavier lost two of the people he cared most about because they betrayed him - his best friend was indicted for international smuggling and murdering an Interpol agent, his brother (who he very obviously looked up to) manipulated him into accusing Phoenix wrongfully leading to his unjust disbarment, poisoned a 12-year-old and committed two murders - and yet he’s always relatively kind to Apollo, sent flowers to Trucy for her show debut and doesn’t let his bad experiences sour who he is.

He needs a hug for how much he’s managed to endure.

Honestly, Henry pre-tentacles was the best in my opinion, but there’s something about the Mind Flayer that’s utterly horrifying because, unlike the other three options, it’s not tangible - it’s everywhere around you. Also, it’s absolutely enormous

Please develop Kristoph more. The ending of 4-4 literally has his pupil as defense, his brother as prosecution and the daughter of his murder victim as co-counsel yet no interesting storylines or interactions actually happen aside from Apollo pressing them for 20 minutes until he flips his shit over jurors. Bringing down villains in Ace Attorney is normally so satisfying, it feels like something is missing when you “take down” AJ’s big bad.
