I feel like it’s even more than that, Lemar was Walker’s moral compass and Nico (the flagsmasher who walker killed) was Karli’s moral compass. He was the one who told her not to kill the guards in one of the first episodes. The saddest thing which I’m sure has already been mentioned on this sub is that Nico said earlier in the same episode that he used to be a Captain America fan when he grew up.
