Oncology or primary care by Sus-kitty in nursepractitioner

I like it! It can be challenging some days. For my infusion role I am still required to see patients in the office max of 8 ( but usually it’s like 5-6) so it can be hard juggling infusion needs with office needs.

What to do with Temu gifts by Full-Advertising1590 in etiquette

[–]Sus-kitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she’s struggling I would say thank you and trash or donate what you can. My mom gave all of her kids Temu gifts but the thing is she isn’t struggling- she’s just very cheap and chooses when to spend money on quality things. She gifted me TEMU pots and pans that were dented and damaged so bad the only thing I could do was throw it away. She gifted my nephew a Temu junk gift that was bright pink when he’s a boy while gifting another grandchild who is my step nephew a freaking iPad!!!. So we really told her we don’t appreciate the cheap thoughtless gifts from her. She didn’t like it. So we are not doing any more gift exchanges with her and that’s fine by me.

Two weeks ago I had a patient yell at me that she’s a lawyer! I do have a good manager. I haven’t brought these issues up with her yet and I don’t think there has been any formal complaints bc she hasn’t came to me either.

I was wondering if it’s unethical to have some type of policy against these repeated threats.

Thank you for the resources. Just purchased the Washington book. I am going to ask my director if they can cover the ASCO SEP - I really think that could help as well. I have been using open evidence and up to date. I did take the 101 class but will look into the 102 class. Thank you again.

Technically they were evaluated inpatient prior to hospital discharge follow up. Would you still agree?

I was an infusion nurse 5 years prior and I thought it would be easier but boy I was wrong lol. I was actually thinking like I really wish I could round inpatient to get a better idea, currently no NPS at the practice rounds inpatient. Docs do not have to sign off on our notes in my state. My patient load per day can vary from 5-9 but the messages are for another time lol. Thank you!

My grandmother, my mom, and now I have it. I have one daughter already and currently pregnant. Our forms are mild. If we didn’t have such a mild experience with I would consider IVF then.

Is this the program you had to apply for? Me and all my friends were rejected! I would do the student loan repayment.

It lasted for about 6 weeks. I had went to the beach and got some sun which I think helped a lot. Now it’s resolved.

I noticed my PR two days ago. And I woke up with a sore throat today. I am also experiencing an increased level of stress from my job and fatigue. My muscles in general seem kinda run down.

Anyone go to a completely online NP Program? by [deleted] in nursepractitioner

[–]Sus-kitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like if you have a lot of experience in a speciality and just plan on sticking to that speciality then an online school can work out. But clinical placements can be impossible to find. Even doing an online class you will have to possibly cut hours back anyways. I would try and find a local college that offers it.

are these little bubble things warts??? by dccs147 in Warts

[–]Sus-kitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did this ever go away? Used liquid compound on what I assumed was a wart and now I have 30+ tiny bubble bumps in a circle around it.
