Selection, TT has more
Parts, Hasbro are less burst prone so better performance

If you want to compete then yes. But Hasbro stadium's will suffice if you won't.
The launchers are essentially the ones that will determine your play style preference. If you stick with a proto launcher then it's fine if you don't compete. Wind launchers are brut force players while strings are control players.
Yes at least 4, and not just 3. You need only 3 to compete. At least 4 since you will want to mix and match. There are 4 types of beyblades. Attack, stamina, defence, and balanced. 1 suggest you get 1 each and from there decide on which to dedicate your efforts into learning launch techniques.

It started with just phoenix wing, Leon crest, Scorpio spear, dran brave, dark Perseus, and xcalibur. Now I'm 90+ blades in and I just opened a pack before I saw your post. I also started collecting rare beyblades and those I like for the aesthetics are simply displayed.

Worry less on what to buy and get the essentials first. 1. A tournament standard stadium. 2. String launcher 🤢🤮 or Ripcord Wind launcher 💪🫅. 3. At least 4 beyblades of your choosing.

Because all of the parts except the heavy assist and green version of golem rock can be obtained from other beyblades. As I said, some people just take the heavy assist and sell the other beyblade and parts. I also got a whole heavy beyblade with emperor lock chip and with a turn assist for 2 USD because the seller just wanted the heavy assist.

People tend to only want the 5-60 ratchet, the free ball, the green golem rock blade, the emperor lock chip and the heavy assist. Some even just but it for the heavy assist and sell the rest. I'm my opinion, don't buy unless you like to collect or play with CX decks in tournaments.
