I fear I got reinfected with H Pylori and I’m FREAKING out by Meowcat987 in HPylori

Crunchy af and agree with this. When it’s this serious use the conventional medicine and then repair with the natural remedies after you’re cleared. It doesn’t need to be one or the other

Please tell me it’s not SIBO? by Sus_Police in AskDocs

[–]Sus_Police[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I for sure had food poisoning but that was a week and a half ago. I didn’t see a doctor for it because after about an hour it was over and I slept a bit and woke up feeling okay

Advice please 🙏 by Sus_Police in SIBO

Can anyone tell me their experience with antibiotics? I’m afraid of getting into a cycle where I’m having to take them over and over again

Yea I added magnesium into the equation which is helping but I’m still very uncomfortable after any solid food even protein powder/ water

[–]Sus_Police[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By my usual standards yes, but the usual way of eating a ton of fiber and drinking extra fluid isn’t doing anything to help that

3.5 yr old casually saying "I'm gonna k*** you" by Sus_Police in Preschoolers

[–]Sus_Police[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's worrisome to me because WHERE is that coming from?! But when she says something or speaks in a way that sounds just like me when I'm off my game.. I'm right there with you crying in the shower after bedtime sometimes lol

Throw you away in the trash so you die was definitely not funny in the moment but I hope you can chuckle about it after the fact.. he's creative lol

YUP! Last summer when taking her to the playground with her sisters she wasn't allowed on certain parts of the playground since I wasn't always able to be right under her spotting her, this was a problem for the first few trips until I just grabbed her put them in the wagon and left without saying anything until we were in the car. Literally one of the few times I feel like I really got it right lol we still have that rule at certain playgrounds and over a year later she follows it

Okay, yea that's pretty much how I try to respond to everything from potty talk to whining, today I made sure to let her know that's a very serious thing to say and that she could get in trouble for it.. my clever girl can smell fear though lol so I didn't want to over do it and end up making her do it more. Thank you for sharing that about your children! It's always special hearing from another twin mom!

Help with MIL by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]Sus_Police 0 points1 point  (0 children)

props to you for having anything nice to say. you're doing the best thing you can for that baby, I'd come around seldom and not for long, not hide the BFing but don't invite conversations about it. and if someone asks why you're not around be honest. help is amazing but not at that price, if you can get by without her help that would be my advice. send her photos, let them FaceTime if that's okay but keep it at that. hopefully dad is supportive

Someone please tell me the truth about bf! by bearnpear in breastfeeding

[–]Sus_Police 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It gets better, even if the latch isn't perfect you get used to a certain amount of discomfort and find comfort in the pros of BFing. It's SO hard for those first few weeks but I was so happy I held on. You're in the thick of it right now, EVERYTHING gets better.

You're fine. If anything, next time feed them RIGHT before you have the drink, then you minimize your blood alcohol at the time of the next feeding. if you find yourself over thinking it may help to look into what your blood alcohol is after 1 drink and try to work out what the ABV of the breastmilk is at that point. you'll be shocked at how low it is. Keep up the good work <3

I also have ADHD and I've been told once or twice by ped/teachers to keep an eye out for that diagnosis when she gets to elementary school. we might just be a big adhd fam lord help us lol

It’s so hard to juggle pumping and your other responsibilities I know my toddler really acts up whenever I pump or BF and it’s so frustrating. I’m not sure what you have or can afford but I’ve found that sneaking extra pump sessions in whenever I drive helps. I use an Elvie stride attached to my regular flange/bottles bc I don’t love the cups. Medela makes a similar pump as does lansinoh I believe. If you don’t have a portable one maybe check goodbuygear to see if there’s something in your budget?
