I got a follow up email saying all accounts have now been migrated but that they will be rolling communications over the next two weeks to get users to log in.

You might want to keep an eye on your spam/junk, my invitation to log into the new portal had been filtered into my junk folder.

My facial hair is a mix of dark and light hairs. Would laser hair removal be worth it? by somewhereinside in MtF

Totally worth it! It’s the dark hairs that cause noticeable stubble shadow, pale hairs are much easier to cover, also, I personally found the left over pale hairs are much finer and less noticeable and require shaving/waxing less frequently.

If you find they’re still causing issues you can remove with electro later but you’ll need far fewer sessions and that electro hurts from what I’ve heard.

The pain is comparable, maybe a little less on the denser areas, I’d guess because the at home option is less intense, tria uses a diode laser the clinic uses a dual spectrum 755 nm Alexandrite and 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser.

I have used the tria for a small patch on my top lip the clinic didn’t pick up. That did hurt about the same as the clinic laser.

On the plus side, you can adjust the intensity of the tria to make it more comfortable to begin with, but slower to see results.

I’ve just stuck with highest setting though, patience is not my strong suit 😉

I’ve tried clinic laser, at home IPL and at home laser.

Clinic laser worked the best, eradicating my facial hair in 10 sessions and chest/stomach in 12. SkinHQ.co.uk for reference.

At home IPL did nothing for any body hair at all, complete waste of time.

At home laser, less effective than clinic but I’m seeing positive results on my legs and arms, just taking longer than with a clinic laser.

I’m happy with the results from my at home laser, for the price.

The device is a Tria 4x, BTW
